The Fleet
Married September 14, 2014 at St. Regis on North Topsail Beach — a full day with the people we love most, closing with a photo taken just after the sun went down. What we promised each other that day was two things at once: our love, and our dependence on God. We've been chasing after joy ever since. Even through the difficult and painful things, we always come back to this: your broken pieces fit my broken pieces, and my broken pieces fit yours.
We are going to chase after joy together — whether it's Ritz crackers and peanut butter or filet mignon. We have each other, and our Father God with us.
That's not a mission statement. That's just who we are. And it's why when Victoria got out of the car with a black and white striped golf umbrella from Home Depot in a Georgia rainstorm to escort wedding guests — that wasn't a policy.
